CODE-NGO  announces its upcoming Social Development Week 2010 celebration on November 15 to 19, 2010!  The event kicks off with CODE-NGO’s very first Photo and Poetry Contest with the theme “Kasali Ako sa Pagbabago!” (Celebrating Active Citizenship for Effective Governance and Development). Young amateur photographers and poets 16 to 30 years old are invited to submit photo entries and register for the on-the-spot poetry contest. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF PHOTO ENTRIES IS EXTENDED UNTIL NOVEMBER 6, 2010  (Read more for contest guidelines and other details).  There will also be an NGO Trade Fair at Trinoma Mall on Nov. 15-18, Forums on Civil Society-Government Partnerships on Nov. 17-18, and CODE-NGO 14th General Assembly on Nov. 19.

An NGO Trade Fair, featuring the products and services of entrepreneurial NGOs will open at the Trinoma Mall Activity Center in Quezon City from November 15-18.  Development forums on Civil Society-Government Partnerships are being organized for November 17-18.  The week will be capped by CODE-NGO’s convening of its 14th General Assembly, representing 100 leaders of its member networks on November 19.
