The Honorable Antonio T. Carpio is the keynote speaker of the CODE-NGO’s “Call to Action: Networking, Empowering, and Transforming as Response to Social Change” on May 27, 2021 (Thursday), 1:30PM via Zoom.

Hon. Carpio obtained his law degree from the College of Law of the University of the Philippines in 1975, wherein he graduated valedictorian and cum laude. He has penned 836 decisions, which is a rare feat attained by a Supreme Court magistrate. Justice Carpio has lectured extensively on the West Philippine Sea dispute in various local and international fora. Presently, Justice Carpio is the Chair of the Second Division and Chair of the Senate Electoral Tribunal. He was sworn in as a member of the Supreme Court on October 26, 2001.

The “Call to Action” event will highlight how connections in international alliances, digital innovation/technology, and academe – empower and help us generate ideas to address current realities and anticipate future opportunities and threats.
