Digital transformation is a way to go for any organization that wants to operate efficiently and effectively in this era. And technology plays an increasingly vital role in achieving its objectives, increasing its productivity, and add value to its relevance. Just like any other organization, CSOs have to adapt to this increasingly digital world to create a huge difference in the effectiveness of expected outcomes. Through digital transformation, CSOs can utilize technology to refine organizational management and services, improve beneficiary engagement, reduce friction, develop new funding sources, and facilitate remote collaboration with ease and efficiency. 

Such is the direction that Central Visayas Network of NGOs (CENVISNET) took in its recent 17^th General Assembly last May 15, 2023 at Cebu City with its theme “Maximizing Technology to Magnify Social Impact: Empowering Civil Organizations through Digital Transformation” participated by representatives from its Provincial Networks Negros Oriental Network of NGOs and POs (NEGORNET), Bohol Alliance of NGOs (BANGON) and Kabaag sa Sugbo. The highlight of the event is the learning session from invited resource speakers from the technology sector of RAFI-Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc., CVISNET Foundations Inc., and AFOS Foundation-Philippines who gave inputs on the importance of digitization in community development work, use of web-based applications for advocacy and project management and maximizing data collection and management information.
