Under the Strategic Capacity Building for Networks’ Sustainability (Expanded CBF Year 2) Project, CODE-NGO expedited Capacity Building for its mentee organizations from NCR/Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. From the initial results of the Capacity Assessment Tool (CAT), two training workshops were identified per island cluster.
For NCR/Luzon and Visayas, the priority training topics were a) Admin & Human Resource Management and (b) Resource Mobilization. The Admin & HR Management writeshop was facilitated by Mr. Luis Morales of PCNC (Philippine Council for NGO Certification) and Ms.Vicki Alcoseba, an independent consultant and former Capacity Building Manager of the Strengthening the Capacity of Philippine CSOs Project. The NCR/Luzon leg was conducted last August 2-4, 2017 in Quezon City while the Visayas leg happened last August 29-31, 2017 in Mandaue City, Cebu.
The Resource Mobilization training was led by Ms.Marissa Camacho of Ramon Magsaysay Foundation and Ms.Vicki Alcoseba in Mandaue City, Cebu last November 16-18, 2017 and they were joined by Mr.Mario Deriquito of BDO Foundation in the Quezon City leg last December 4-6, 2017.
