AF is currently the largest national network of non-government organizations (NGOs) and foundations in the Philippines with 210 organizations on its roster. AF’s mission is to enable its member foundations to develop sustainable programs that serve their communities. Over the last ten years, AF has dedicated its efforts to professionalizing the non-profit sector and strengthening the capacity of members through activities geared towards improved board governance, institutional effectiveness and stability. It has committed as well to honing NGO leaders who would be able to respond effectively and efficiently to increasingly complex development issues. AF also continuously seeks opportunities for strategic partnerships in order for the network to contribute to the achievement of the country’s development agenda.
