How are CSOs responding to Covid-19?

The Association of Foundations (AF) has started a list of Philippine civil society organizations’ (CSOs) response to the COVID-19 crisis. 

The list is a mix of both AF members and other CSOs. AF encourages sharing of information to facilitate possible collaborations/partnerships. Please see the list of the CSO efforts

As of April 16 2020, 82 organizations have signed up and reported 137 interventions happening in 58 provinces. Majority of interventions are food and relief operations; almost 25% extend personal protective equipment (PPE) and health support; others are fundraising, call for support, information and coordination. 

The largest reported part of interventions are in Metro Manila, followed by Cebu, Rizal, and Palawan.
